Best Time to Visit The Grove Resort Water Park Orlando

Ideal Months for Water Park Fun

The best time to visit The Grove Resort Water Park Orlando is during the spring or fall when the weather is warm, but the crowds are smaller. From March to May, and again from September to November, you can expect pleasant temperatures and fewer people, making it the perfect time for a fun and relaxing experience without the long lines.

Weather Conditions

Florida is known for its sunny and warm weather, and Orlando is no exception. During peak summer months (June to August), temperatures can soar up to the high 90s°F (35°C+), which makes the water park even more inviting! But beware, the summer months can bring afternoon showers, so it’s best to pack a poncho just in case. The fall season tends to have milder temperatures, making it an ideal time for water park fun.

Crowds, Peak Season Tips, and Ticket Pricing Variations

Peak season in Orlando typically falls during school vacations and summer months, so expect higher crowds and ticket prices. However, during the off-peak season (fall and spring), ticket prices are often lower, and the park feels less crowded, meaning more space and less waiting. If you’re traveling during peak season, consider visiting on weekdays for a more enjoyable experience.

Traveler Review & Recommendation: The Grove Resort Water Park Orlando

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5/5

Review by Emily S. – Family Vacation, June 2023

We visited The Grove Resort Water Park Orlando during the summer, and it was absolutely incredible! Our family of four (two kids aged 5 and 9) spent three days at the resort, and it was hands down one of the best vacations we’ve ever had.

What We Loved

The water park was fantastic! The wave pool had a great balance of fun and relaxation. My husband and I spent hours just floating in the Lazy River while the kids had a blast on the water slides. The slides are huge and offer a thrilling experience, but we especially loved the family raft rides—they’re perfect for everyone to enjoy together. My kids couldn’t get enough of the interactive splash zones, which were perfect for them to cool off and play safely.

We stayed at the resort, and the rooms were spacious and comfortable, with plenty of amenities for a family. Being able to go straight from our room to the water park without any hassle was a major plus!

Dining

Food inside the park was great too. We grabbed pizza for lunch and some really delicious ice cream in the afternoon. While we couldn’t bring our own food, there were enough options to keep us well-fed and satisfied throughout the day.

Tips for Future Visitors

  1. Go early! Arriving right when the park opens is the best way to enjoy the top attractions without the long lines. By lunchtime, the park got a bit more crowded, so if you’re planning to hit the bigger rides, do them first.

  2. Get the Fast Pass! We didn’t opt for it initially, but by the end of the second day, we regretted not having it. The Fast Pass helps skip those long lines for the more popular attractions.

  3. Pack sunscreen and water shoes! The Florida sun is no joke, and walking around in wet shoes all day can be uncomfortable. Water shoes are a lifesaver, and sunscreen is essential.

Recommendation

If you’re traveling with kids, or even if you’re an adventure seeker looking for thrilling water slides, The Grove Resort Water Park Orlando is a great choice. There’s something for everyone—whether you’re chilling on the Lazy River, racing down slides, or enjoying the family-friendly activities. I highly recommend it to families looking for a fun, stress-free vacation that offers both relaxation and adventure in one spot.

We will definitely be back next summer!
